We have finished making 7 CD's of biographies and pictures. The CD's are sorted by family line. For more information on how to obtain one or more CD's, click here.
Through the years we have found Irish genealogical research to be a major challenge because so many Irish records have been destroyed, and because we have so few surnames on our pedigree (Hayes, Phipps, and Atkins). To help make up for this lack, we made it a priority to collect family historical records, biographies, and pictures and make them available to family members. Thanks to the efforts of our family historian, who supplied many of the biographies and pictures, this was accomplished in the mid-1970s. But the passing years brought new technology and the need to update our records, so it was decided to convert everything into computer format. Converting the records from the old legal-size forms and putting them onto CDs has been a major undertaking, but they are now available. From time to time we will also post biographies and pictures on this website, but the most complete set will be on the CDRoms. We plan to eventually have a fairly complete media library on this web site, however the high quality pictures, suitable for printing, touchup, or manipulation, will only be available on CD.
CD's are divided by family lines--seven in all, for example, CD 1 contains information for George
Hayes and Frances Phipps and their descendants (except for John Phipps Hayes & Eleanor Jane
Hayes, who are on CD 2). CD 3 contains information for John Joseph Hayes and Rachel Eleanor
Wagstaff. CD 4-CD 7, contains information for their children (Isaac John, George Samuel, William Lehi,
Henry Nephi.) Each CD contains biographies and pictures. Unfortunately, not every family is
represented; we welcome additional information and pictures.
